Accommodation Manager
The Accommodation Manager is responsible for onsite service delivery in the following areas:
Service to the building owner (our client)
• Maximise occupancy at, and income from, the building.
• Close financial control of expenditure budget to minimise costs whilst maintaining service levels.
• Build & maintain strong relationships with target educational establishments & other stakeholders.
• Maintain a clean, safe & secure building.
Service to the tenants (our customers)
• Pre occupancy advice & smooth signing up and moving in service.
• Fast, accurate and clear response to queries & maintenance issues.
• Concierge style advice & communication to customers.
• Compliance with guidelines.
Supervise building onsite staff including:
• Assistant accommodation manager, Maintenance operative and Cleaning operatives.
Specific activities:
• Develop and manage the marketing plan for the building
• Deal with correspondence and administration at building.
• Pastoral Care for Students.
• Signing of tenancy agreements.
• Receiving and banking cash, cheques & credit card payments.
• Develop and manage emergency response plans.
• Manage and be part of on-call rota for out of hour’s callouts.
• Manage programmes of redecoration and refurbishment when required.
• Regular inspections of the building.
• Manage fire safety plan.
• Manage health & safety plan.
• Manage planned and reactive building and services maintenance.
• Manage contractors.
• Maintain accurate records.
• View and update as required APB & file server management systems to record site maintenance, occupancy & financial data.
• Prepare reports for and attend regular update meetings with clients.
