Due to the vast expansion in the Nottingham operation a vacancy has arisen for a Assistant Project Manager.
Purpose: To manage Automotive Customer Accounts as assignedTo ensure the Voice of the Customer is clearly communicated within the organisation hence ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained. To be a single point of contact for all commercial interfaces with the customer. To project manage new engine developments with assigned customers to ensure flawless launches are achieved.
Reports to Business Development Manager/Director
Location: Annesley
Job Functions: Initiating and controlling all project documentation required for customer quality procedures and company documentation requirements as per the quality manual, to TS16949 standard. Generating Forecasts and Budgets for projects to help all other departments and in the future tracking these budgets to ensure costs are controlled. Interface with all departments on a daily basis to ensure co-ordination with the project requirements and especially managing changes. Maintaining communication with all departments to ensure company and customer procedures and documentation are completed, including Japan and Senior management. Controlling assigned customer parts from project proposal through development and on to production and eventual project termination. Completing pricing proposals and negotiations with assigned customers in a fair and open manner, aiming to maintain and enhance customer profitability for the organisation. Completing and controlling the customer specific Project Tracking or APQP Documentation. Supporting Engineering, QA, Production or Logistics Departments where required. Utilising TS16949 and ISO14000. Achieving personal Goals and Objectives and supporting Company Goals and Objectives Initiating and supporting continuous improvement activities.
