A Leicestershire Secondary school requires a Qualified Maths teacher to deliver the subject to SEN classes. These pupils have moderate to severe learning disabilities, so a compassionate and patient approach to teaching is vital for this role. The successful candidate will be able to competently plan tasks to ensure all individual learning and behavioural needs are met. The ability to evaluate learning sessions carefully in order to use the information to aid further planning is also important.
Due to the specialised nature of the position, the suitable candidate will ideally have worked with Special Needs Students previously.
