A fantastic permanent opportunity has arisen to work within a well known established Law Firm in the Nottingham City Centre, who have been voted as one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK, by the Sunday Times! Your position will involve working as a Legal Secretary, in their Commercial Property department.
Main Purpose of the Job
To assist in the efficient and effective co-ordination of the workflow of the department, by providing Secretarial support to two lawyers in a fast paced Commercial Property team.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Preparation of legal correspondence and documents, including letters, memo's, leases and agreements
* File Management - ensuring that all files are kept up to date
* Liaising with internal and external clients to arrange meetings and appointments.
* Undertaking all associated administrative tasks, including billing
* Administration and maintenance of the firm's case management system and marketing database
Essential Skills
To apply for this position, it is essential that you have previously worked within Commercial Property and be familiar with track changes, legal billing procedures and document revision. You will have fast and accurate audio typing skills - minimum of 65 wpm.
Benefits
In return our clients offers a salary of £18, 000 - £20,000 per annum, depending upon experience. Excellent benefits will include contributory pension, medical cover, 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and working hours of 35 per week, Monday to Friday.
