An extremely well known Law firm looking to recruit a Legal Secretary in their Birmingham office. They have been voted as one of the top 100 UK Firms to work for.
Key Areas of Responsibility
· To produce documents and letters as directed by fee earners by means of computerized word processing and document management systems
· To attend clients by telephone and in person in a professional manner
· Opening and closing files and archiving
· Assisting with billing procedures and other account enquiries
· Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining an up to date computerized diary
· Making travel arrangements
· To provide support to other secretaries with workload as reasonably required
· To attend appropriate training courses to improve all elements of job requirements.
Skills and Experience Required
· 2 years legal secretarial experience essential
· Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications
· Accurate and efficient PC skills
· Experience of document management system desirable.
Benefits
Salary being offer will be £16-20k dependant upon experience. In addition you will get 23 days holiday with option to buy or sell, rising after 5 years service, 3% contributory pension.
