Accounts Assistant
A dynamic forward thinking solicitors is looking for a part time Accounts Assistant to join their small team in Nottingham. Situated away from the city centre, this is a newly established law firm, who are authorised by the Office of the immigration Services Commissioner, they act as Wills draftsman in English and Islamic Wills and also are a leading specialist in obtaining compensation for victims of accidents including RTA, EL/PL and criminal injury.
Your duties will include;
Processing payments and receipts
Verifying cheques and processing BACS receipts
Posting transactions on to the system
Processing credit card payments
Reviewing account balances
Dealing with client queries
Checking of expense reimbursement claims
Ensuring numerical accuracy and appropriate authorisation
Maintaining accounting records
General ad hoc accounting duties
The successful candidate will have recent accounts experience, ideally within a solicitors, excellent communication skills and a high level of accuracy.
This is a part time role - hours will ideally be 9am till 12noon 2 days a week, the days worked are flexible.
This is a temporary to permanent role with a pay rate of 7.00 per hour.
