A large outsourced call and contact centre is now looking for an experience HR Business Partner to join their busy HR team close to Nottingham City Centre.
This generalist role will report directly into the HR & Training Manager and will oversee the HR Advisor and Recruitment co-ordinator along with the HR Assistants.
The role will encompass:
People: · Ensure quality standards in customer service in line with service level agreements.· Ensure staff are trained to deliver the highest standards of service.· Actively demonstrate strong leadership in an open and honest manner.· Develop the HR Team through monthly 1:1’s, half yearly appraisals in line with the Performance Management System and Performance Development Plans to include individual PDPs.· Hold weekly team meetings to develop and maintain consistency across the team.· Hold weekly meetings with the HR Recruitment Coordinators to plan and discuss recruitment activities and initiatives.· Hold monthly meetings with own HR Recruitment Coordinator and HR & Training Admin Assistant to plan and discuss all HR and Client Group activities and initiatives.· Provide coaching and development to the HR Team through appropriate delegation of tasks.· Take overall ownership of HR issues including the review of Recruitment and Selection material, Employee Relations and Management Information.· Set challenging targets in consultation with HR Manager, direct reports and Client Group. · Monitor KPI’s to include absence, attrition and performance, addressing issues where appropriate.
Business & shareholder: · Raising the organisation’s profile through recommendations, CSR, recruitment, selection and retention initiatives.· Drive performance to achieve HR strategy and objectives. · Ensure accurate reporting is provided back to the business specified deadlines.· Respect the confidentiality of employee and client information
Customer: · Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times in line with the company’s expectations and HR Mission Statement without compromising your position or that of the company.
Quality: · Promote quality in line with the quality procedures manual.· Audit department regularly to ensure that standards of accuracy and efficiency are being met. · Support the business quality team with internal audits as required from time to time ensuring that all information is available within the requested timeframe.· Ensure compliance with FSA Regulations through effective recruitment and selection documents and procedures.
Communication: · Provide a channel of communication between your client group and the rest of the business, delivering the right message, at the right time in the right manner.· Forge strong communication links with all relevant departments in the business.· Actively encourage participation from all staff in an open and honest manner.· Attend and contribute to weekly client group meetings, addressing issues and recommending initiatives.· Encourage department cohesion through weekly HR meetings raising awareness and sharing knowledge where appropriate.
Site responsibilities: · Assist HR Business Partner colleagues in completion as required· Encourage and promote site-wide initiatives through Team, HR and Client Group meetings.
You will ideally be CIPD qualified or working toward this and will be able to demonstrate 2 years experience within a HR role at this level. Call or contact centre experience along with experience of high volume recruitment and ER issues would be a benefit.
