Job Summary: You will have the passion to sell Media products to potential and existing customers by visiting people in their home – or at specially arranged events. At the same time you will deliver great customer service and be an advocate for Virgin Media and its products and services and represent the company in an honest and professional manner at all times. Job Responsibilities: · Responsible for ensuring that your individual monthly sales, install, product mix and other targets are met through your field activity · Selling individual products and product packages to potential and existing customers · You’ll also have sound knowledge of Virgin Media’s products and packages in order to be able to sell to the customer · You’ll ensure that customer paperwork (i.e. contracts, direct debit forms etc) is accurate, up to date and meets all compliance requirements · You’ll be required to adhere to the Company credit checking procedures at all times · You’ll have the ability to match customer needs to the products and services in our portfolio · You’ll have the ability to handle objections from customers, in order to turn the sale around and influence the customer to buy the product and services · You’ll be responsible for converting appointments and presentations into actual sales and reporting your daily sales activity to your Field Sales Manager · You’ll be responsible for keeping and updating your own personal performance records · You’ll also ensure you have the desire to meet and exceed your pre install cancellation (PIC) target by managing the customer experience from sale to installation · You’ll actively promote the Virgin Media values of a ‘Virgin Experience sale’ by concentrating on matching and selling to the customer needs, ensuring the highest standards of quality in customer relations and sales integrity · You’ll also be required to attend training session and meetings when required · You may also be asked to undertake additional duties as directed by your Field Sales Manager Key Requirements: Desirable · You’ll be comfortable working in a target driven environment · You’ll also have the desire to deliver great customer service and the passion to smash your targets and objectives · You’ll be passionate communicator with the ability to gain respect and build rapport easily · You’ll be PC literate on all Microsoft applications (word, excel, power point) Essential · You’ll have full clean driving licence Work conditions and environment: · Working hours to be agreed locally with Field Sales Manager · Extra Hours as required to achieve targets (mornings and weekends) · Based in the Field (mainly outdoors/customer homes) · Working anywhere in your specific area as required · Working individually or as part of a team |
