| JOB PURPOSE To form part of an effective field sales team, providing effective advice to householders and effecting sales of corrective insulation measures. You must enhance our relationship with existing councils and organisations and prospective customers. You will have a set of sales targets to achieve for the promotion of a full range of ENERGY SERVICES products and services. You will also be expected to provide accurate advice about the changes in the energy efficiency market both locally and nationally. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Ø To achieve your sales targets whilst enhancing our relationship with our customers. Ø Distribute marketing material prior to calling to discuss the benefits that ENERGY SERVICES can provide Ø Work with ENERGY SERVICES management to develop and promote any new enhancements to the ENERGY SERVICES portfolio. Ø To have a sound understanding of the competitive Energy efficiency market and the ability to put over key points to customers in a friendly and positive manner Ø To capture market/competitor information and feed this back in a timely and relevant manner to a Team Leader. Ø To accurately complete all necessary paperwork. Ø To consistently project a smart, businesslike and approachable style to enhance our company image Skills and abilities Essential Desirable Hardworking and resilient, self motivated and target driven. Possess excellent communication skills. Able to deal with people on all levels and from different backgrounds. Smart and professional in appearance. Work consistently to high standards. Good organisational skills. Good handwriting and English language skills. Able to cope with setbacks. Previous sales experience. Experience of dealing with general public, preferably in a customer facing role. Knowledge Essential Desirable Knowledge of energy savings and efficiency.Good Standard of Basic EducationAbility to perform simple calculations of area and volumeBe able to pass basic IQ Test Knowledge of specific insulation and other corrective measures OTHER Essential Desirable Pleasant and engaging manner. The ability to sensitively deal with members of the public from vulnerable groups. Sales related training courses and qualifications. City & Guilds 6176 in SAP Able to work flexible hours including evenings and some Saturdays. Should be able to visit multiple peoples’ homes each day and be willing to work in all weather conditions.
