Full Description:
My client has various sites in Nottinghamshire including Ruddington and Lenton. This role is working within the Education and Learning Sector.

The role is a fixed term contract until September 2009.

Duties within the role will include:

*To act as central point of contact and resource for the team, ensuring all team members are kept fully up to date in terms of key developments and information and maintain a central diary for the team’s commitments.
*To set up and manage effective administrative and communication systems, including coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements.
*To coordinate and manage arrangements events as required, booking venues, agreeing budgets, inviting participants and monitoring attendance.
*To attend and support events as required and track payment of participant expenses.
*To provide support to the programme manager on allocated projects, taking ownership of certain elements of the projects to ensure they are completed within agreed timescales.
*To produce correspondence, presentations, reports and other documentation and help establish and maintain a shared document retrieval and database system.
*To assist the team to track and monitor of specified budgets, supplying regular reports outlining the current budgetary position. To raise and track requisitions and purchase orders for BDP team. To create and maintain a budget tracking coding system for managers in online learning.
*To support communication with stakeholders, responding to enquiries. To act as a central point of contact for external partners and clients, including school leaders and Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) officials, responding to queries or passing them on where appropriate to ensure effective level of resolution.
*To provide administrative support for internal and external meetings, including room booking, coordinating equipment and required materials, taking minutes and ensuring that agreed actions are followed up within the required time scales.

The successful candidate will preferably have worked in a responsible administrative or project support role with responsibility for undertaking project based activity, requiring liaison with external organisations, partners and suppliers.
