Full Description:
Our client is involved in the construction industry providing steel reinforcement for concrete / concrete based products.

Working from their new offices you will provide an effective sales contribution. You achieve this through developing yourself and any colleagues who work under your direction, to a point where the company’s policies and procedures are effectively implemented to ensure the commercial viability of the Company.

Duties to include:

Accountability for obtaining profitable business to achieve sales targets including revenue and margins, ensuring that the Company’s pricing policy is fully and effectively implemented.

To be fully conversant with all the products sold by the Company ensuring that customers are canvassed and made aware of relevant products to ensure sales targets are achieved/bettered.

Ensure that commitments made to customers regarding product delivery dates, etc., are both correct and attainable. Take effective steps to ensure that information given to customers, i.e. product details, suitability of use, prices, etc., are valid and accurate.

Operate all computer and communications equipment speedily and effectively ensuring that all customers are dealt with in a polite and businesslike manner.

Effectively operate all record keeping systems ensuring that manual or electronic input is both accurate and actioned within the designated time scales.

Produce and action statistics and analysis accurately, effectively and within the designated time scales.

Effectively carry out other duties/projects as may be required from time to time.

This is effectively an entry level / trainee role where training to NVQ level 2 in sales will be offered.
