| Business Analyst Purpose of Position: Provide accurate and timely information to support management decision making and planning Scope of Position: 1. Investigation of all business systems and processes 2. Identification and evaluation of key drivers within each process 3. Establish a reporting framework for the key drivers to provide business information 4. Provision of ongoing statistical analysis and decision-making support to all departments within the business ____________________________________________________________________ Internal / External Communication: Internal with Financial Controller and other relevant employees, particularly Senior Management within the Sales and Marketing teams. ______________________________________________________________________ Education and Qualifications: CIMA qualified or equivalent business qualification ______________________________________________________________________ Skills and Qualities: Advanced knowledge of MSExcel, including macros, charts and graphs Advanced knowledge of MS Access, including queries, reports and macros Knowledge of SQL particularly MS SQL Server, an advantage Knowledge of SPSS, SAS, Cognos or similar statistical modelling tools an advantage Highly numerate, accurate and able to work to tight deadlines Able to present complex information clearly Conscientious and able to work on own initiative A good understanding of financial accounts preferred Commercially minded, with an enquiring mind and organised Attention to detail is essential _____________________________________________________________________ Experience: 3 years+ experience in a financial or business analysis environment is essential For more information please contact Jo James on 0115 948 0800 (Agy) |
