Managing more than 1.4 million aircraft movements per year and processing a million tonnes of cargo, on average they handle an aircraft movement every 19 seconds around the globe.
Due to expansion and seasonal demand, this consistently expanding ground handler is currently looking for Cargo Handlers to join their team.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Loading and off loading baggage and freight from customer airlines aircraft.
Driving company vehicles i.e. electrical baggage tugs and passenger coaches.
Transferring passenger baggage onto the reclaim carousels.
The handling of specialized ground equipment.
Working along the aircraft and in high secure areas.
You are required to work as part of a team for maximum impact. We will need to be physically fit and able and 100 per cent flexible and committed. Full training will be provided to ensure the success of the operation, along with Health and Safety, Manual Handing and Aviation Safety awareness.
This is a temporary ongoing position. You will be required to work nights this will include Monday - Friday and every 3rd Sunday.
You will need to be able to work between 1900 - 0700, normal shifts consist of 2100 - 0530. 30 Hours a week guaranteed. This operation is 24/7 and you will need to be available any day of the week. Hours will include earlies, lates, night's days and weekends.
It is essential you have the following to be able to apply:
A valid UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
A valid passport with a least 6 months validity.
A 5 year checkable history
To be able to complete a Criminal Record Check
Must not be colour blind.
Salary - 6.50 p/h
