| Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be required: To identify the key areas of expenditure, develop a purchasing strategy and negotiate agreements. To rationalise the supply base and maximise profitability. To deliver cost-effective benefits to the internal customer through supplier management. To implement and maintain new policies and procedures and ensure that best practice purchasing processes are continually developed and used. To handle strategic projects. Preferred candidate: Procurement professional with a recognised purchasing qualification, around 5 years relevant experience and a proven track record preferably in the services industry. Ability to define the specification for a tender process. Self-motivated with excellent negotiation and time management skills. Commercially astute and results driven. Strong interpersonal skills. Fully mobile and willing to travel to other sites. |
