Job Description

A major manufacturing company based in Sutton in Ashfield are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join a lively finance team based within easy access of the motorway.

To be considered for this role, you will have at least 2 years relevant finance experience, you will ideally be AAT Qualified and looking to continue your studies with either ACCA or CIMA.

Your role will include:

• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register

• Maintenance of cashbook

• Sales reporting

• Intrastat submissions

• Monthly invoice and rebate claim

• Production of cash flow forecasts

• Production of monthly accruals and prepayments

• Posting of cashbook transactions

• Assisting in year end audit

• Ad-hoc analysis
