We are currently recruiting for a number of businesses that are looking for candidates with finance backgrounds who are seeking their next opportunity.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join a market leading organisation. Due to internal promotion the company has a requirement for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their fast paced finance team.

As part of this role you will;

- Match, batch and code high volumes of invoices on a daily basis
- Process payment runs - BACS
- Carry out statement reconciliations
- Deal with both internal and external queries
- Be involved with month end procedures

You will have experience working within an accounts department preferably the purchase ledger function. Ideally you will have experience of working within a high volume processing environment. You must be able to work as a part of a small team as you may be required to assist in other areas of the team and be involved in ad hoc project work. An ability to work in a professional and organised manner is also essential and this role requires you to be proactive and hard working.
