Support Workers are required to work within a small residential setting in the Ashbourne area. Supporting adults with complex needs, mental health issues, challenging behaviour, learning difficulties and physical disabilities. Ensuring the physical, emotional, religious and psychological needs of each individual service user are identified and met. Shift patterns cover 24 hour residential care. You will be required to provide personal care.You will be involved with daily care with a person centred approach, tasks may include personal care, preparing meals, following support guidelines and administrative duties. Following care plans for service users. Shift patterns cover 24 hour residential care. You will be able to provide details for a reference history covering the last 3 years.
Essential requirements include:
•Minimum 6 months experience working in an adult setting
•Excellent communication skills
•Up to date Moving and Handling certificate
•Medication training advantagious
•Ability to work upon your own initiative
•Reliable and punctual
•Able to work within a team environment
•Must undergo an Enhanced CRB Check, cost to be met by applicant
