* LEAD ESTIMATOR *
SALARY: £38,000 - £45,000 + Car Package + Pension + Corporate Package & Benefits
POSSIBLE LOCATION OF CANDIDATES: Gravesend, Dartford, Chatham, Gillingham, Swanley - Kent

THE ROLE:
This new and exciting role has been created as a result of continuing growth and superb corporate performance over the last 5 years.
As lead Estimator you will play the integral role of organising, submitting and subsequently winning tenders for construction / civils groundworks projects. Using your experience as an estimator, quantity surveyor or bid/tender manager within the construction trade, you will join a team based in the UK Headquarters and be rewarded with a superb starting remuneration package.
Joining this talented team which consists of sales, quantity surveying and estimating teams you will help ensure that future contracts and long term business relationships are built and maintained. You will also be required to be very opportunistic in order to find out about new projects set to go to tender.
This market leading employer supplies the water, utilities, Education, NHS, oil and gas industries across the UK so experience within these would be advantageous.
THE CANDIDATE:
Essentially you will be an estimator, quantity surveyor or tender manager with groundworks, trench or pipeline experience.
Living within easy commutable distance of Gravesend, you will have superb communication skills and knowledge of the tender winning process and be someone who can lead the estimating function within this busy firm.
Knowledge of the water treatment plant, gas, oil, government funded projects, utilities or education construction sectors would be advantageous but essentially you must have the technical groundworks knowledge, be a strong communicator and be experienced within the tender submission function.
If you have this experience this position offers you direct progression to manage the estimating department and potential personal growth to commercial manager level success. A rare opportunity not to be missed...
