Our client based in the Centre of Derby are looking to recruit a Competence Assessor to work within the Design Section.
You will be working closely with the Competence Assessment Manager and Competence and Audit Manager, ensuring all assessments are completed in line with company procedures and standards. You will also be involved in carrying out workplace and competence assessments, completing all necessary reports as well as indentifying potential process improvements and recommendations for implementation.
The successful candidate will have a A1/V1 Assessor qualification, knowledge of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies, regulations and legislation, risk assessment skills and an ONC or equivalent in electrical engineering, with an understanding of circuit diagrams and indepth knowledge of design handbooks.
