    Our client is looking for a Management Accountant / Asset Administration Manager.

    This role would be well suited to a Dealership accountant or someone experience within the Motor Trade and accounts.- You must be experienced with Kerridge!

    As a company our client has seen extensive growth over the last year. The company supplies specialist parts for the automotive industry working with major names. Proving solutions to names in the heavy duty automotive industry and supplying machinery to the commercial industry.

    You will report to the Group Asset Manager to ensure accurate and timely reports are available to senior management regarding the Fleet Assets and Stock.

    You will be dealing with the more basic aspects of accounting such as purchase ledger, cash book, data on excel and also the more complex -
    The company heavily invest in their staff and are looking for someone to become second in command of the accounts office.

    The General Activities of the role are to:

    • Maintain accurate stock records - ensure that Kerridge is showing up-to-date information at all times such as whether a truck is reserved for a particular customer, or whether it has been physically received at a depot. Cross-reference physical locations on Kerridge with transport requests to ensure that records are correct.
    • Ensure transport is run efficiently and cost effectively
    • Provide support for the Group Asset Manager – develop procedures and standard documents for: capitalisation of work onto stock trucks, transfer of assets into stock, trade sales and truck purchases. Help with the control over System II warranty work. Ensure stock values are correct on Kerridge to enable the Group Asset Manager to dispose at the best possible value.
    • Process all requests for demonstration models – keep an up-to-date spreadsheet of the entire demo fleet, showing exact location, and date the truck is coming back to Impact. Make the sales team aware of which demo models are available for use.
    • Order new company vans and cars, ensuring a purchase order and capital expenditure form are completed before the order is placed. Compare order to invoice when received, and authorise.
